Who we are
GroundSites designs and builds websites for outdoor businesses across the UK. For anything relating to this policy or your information, email hello@groundsites.co.uk.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through this website, we collect:
- your name and business name
- your email address and, if you give it, your phone number
- your trade, your working area or postcode
- anything you write in the message field
We do not ask for payment card details on this website. If you become a client, payments are handled by our payment provider and card details never reach us.
Why we use it
We use your details for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to plan, build and look after your website. We do not sell your information and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and for six years afterwards, which is the period required for UK tax and accounting.
Who we share it with
Only the suppliers we need to run the business - our email provider, our website hosting provider, and our accountant. Each of them handles your information on our instructions and nothing more.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses only the cookies needed to make pages work correctly. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. If we add analytics in future, this page will be updated first.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@groundsites.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
